A unique detail about this piece is that I used dark canvas! It was a little experiement. (I can't recall if undyed canvas was unavailable or if this fabric was on sale LOL - either way my experiment worked!)
This painting was inspired by the beautiful blooms during the annual Azalea Trails of Tyler, TX. (If you're from the area & enjoy sushi you may recognize this piece! It was hanging in Wasabi for several years!)
